Cordless and Wi-Fi

Calls that follow people around the building.

Cordless phones and Wi-Fi planned for your building, walk-tested on a live call before we leave.

Question 1 of 5

Are there parts of the building where Wi-Fi drops or calls break up?

Why most cover lets people down, and why ours works.

Access points went where the cables were.
A survey decides where every access point goes.
Calls break up between the office and the yard.
Handsets roam from one access point to the next as people walk.
The handset did not survive the warehouse.
Rugged handsets, dust and water resistant, built to be dropped.
Nobody knows the Wi-Fi is down until someone complains.
Our access points report to us, so we see a problem first.
Visitors share the network your business runs on.
A separate guest network, kept apart from your systems.
The Padel Wireless Rugged Handset

Now ruggedised

The Padel Wireless Rugged Handset.

One cordless handset, built for the places a desk phone never goes. It runs on your Wi-Fi, so there are no base stations to fit. It is the only model we supply, so every one we install is the tough one.

  • IP67 dust and waterproof

For yards, kitchens, workshops and shop floors.

  • Drop-proof to 1.8 metres

Built to take the knocks of a working day.

  • Roams on your Wi-Fi

No base stations. It moves from one access point to the next as people walk, and the call stays up.

  • Emergency button and man-down alarm

A red emergency button, plus alarms if someone falls or stops moving.

  • Push-to-talk

One press to talk to the whole team, like a radio.

  • Up to 13 hours of talk

    A removable battery and a quick-charge cradle.

  • Antibacterial and cleanable

Stands up to cleaning products, for care homes and kitchens.

  • A full extension

The same numbers, groups and call recording as a desk phone.

Surveyed, planned, tested, watched.

  1. We survey the building

Walls, floors, metal racking, the yard and the places people actually take calls.

  2. We plan where everything goes

Each Wi-Fi access point placed for the building and the handsets, not where the old cables happened to be.

  3. We walk-test it

An engineer walks the building on a live call, checking every hand-over from one access point to the next.

  4. We keep watching

Our access points report to us, so a problem shows up on our screens before it reaches yours.

Questions about cordless and Wi-Fi.

How do the cordless phones work?

Our cordless handset runs on your Wi-Fi, so there are no base stations to fit. The survey places the access points so the handsets keep a strong signal everywhere people take calls, and they roam from one to the next as people walk.

Will it work in our warehouse or yard?

That is what the survey is for. Metal racking, thick walls and outdoor areas all change how far a signal travels, so we plan for them and walk-test the result before we leave.

Do the handsets survive a working site?

Every cordless handset we supply is the Padel Wireless Rugged Handset: IP67 dust and waterproof and drop-proof to 1.8 metres, for yards, kitchens and shop floors.

Can visitors use our Wi-Fi?

Yes, on a separate guest network that is kept apart from your business systems.

Do cordless phones work with Padel Cloud?

Yes. They are extensions on the same phone system, with the same numbers, groups and recording as the desk phones.
